Ahmed: I Saw the Largest Buddha Museum in the Biggest Islamic Country

Covering more than 27,000 kilometers in 43 days and visiting 15 cities with 127 travel tickets, Ahmed, a student at Al-Azhar University, embarked on a journey to explore different civilizations and cultures. He combined his academic background with a passion for history, enriching his experience with knowledge beyond the classroom.

He said that the idea began while browsing websites offering affordable trips. After extensive planning, he managed to embark on his journey despite challenges. His travels allowed him to explore a wide range of historical landmarks, Islamic monuments, and cultural experiences.

Ahmed emphasized that one of the highlights of his trip was visiting the world’s largest museum dedicated to Buddha, located in the largest Islamic country. He also interacted with local communities, experiencing their traditions, foods, and cultural diversity.

His journey reflects a blend of adventurous spirit and scholarly curiosity, making it a modern echo of the legendary travels of Ibn Battuta. He hopes his experience inspires other students to seek knowledge not only in books but also through firsthand exploration of the world.
